Many in the college ministry family in Southern Baptist life lost the funding for their position at the end of 2011. I say lost their funding because many of them are continuing to stay where they are and raise their own salaries. Some of these include:
Dave Buschman, Princeton
Roger and Rose Bear, Indiana
Steve Timmons, UNLV....Steve is raising his salary and moving to a campus in New Mexico.

These friends lost their funding....not their calling!
Some feel that some established state conventions are experiencing funding changes and will possibly see cuts in their college ministry positions as a result.
